Prior to using Receipt Bank, I used to have mounds of paper, which required manually inputting. The time taken to input was frustrating, I like to look forward as to what the business should be doing, not reflecting on what has passed. I think I lost more receipts in the past too, now I have fewer in my wallet. It has allowed my time to be freed up from monotonous admin.
Using Receipt Bank with Xero has increased our time efficiency for sure. To avoid having paper receipts is just great! With Xero, we avoid overwriting files or having to send large attachments, it’s live all the time and the import feed from the bank is amazing. I love it!
I use the ‘search’ in Receipt Bank quite a lot, it was worth the money to backdate all the receipts I had kept pre-Receipt Bank - long term it would be great to see stats / pie charts of who we get receipts from the most! I pretty much use the iPhone app every day, along with drag and drop and email forwarding too.
