The Receipt Bank Blog

News, advice and tips from the world of cloud accounting

Receipt Bank now integrates with FreshBooks!

In Receipt Bank you can now publish your receipts directly into your FreshBooks account!

What does this mean?

Processing receipts is fiddly, difficult and a hassle. So many contractors and freelancers fail to claim all the expenses they're owed – receipts get lost, the pile of paper gets out of control or there simply isn’t the time.

Now, users of Receipt Bank and FreshBooks can quickly and easily turn paper receipts into items on an invoice. Users can submit their receipts to Receipt Bank who extract the data – e.g. the cost, the VAT, the date, the name of the shop or supplier. The user can then add any further details he wants (such as the name of the client or project or notes about the expense) and then publish it directly to FreshBooks and his invoices!

“Our aim at Receipt Bank is to reduce the time and cost that businesses incur dealing with their receipts and expenses. By integrating with FreshBooks we can help many UK freelancers and contractors to reduce the time they have to spend on bookkeeping and help them reclaim all the expenses they incur!”

- Michael Wood, Director, Receipt Bank.
